From Smithfields to the farm
It all started in 1940 when George Smith started Smithfield Ice Cream on Millbury Street in Worcester, MA. Smithfield Ice Cream grew into 12 stores throughout Worcester County. These stores had sit-down ice cream areas and sold ice cream in half pints and quarts.
There was one particular ice cream treat current owner Richard Smith remembers called 'Lilly Dilly' and it cost a nickel and ice cream cones were .15 cents!!
OUR ICE CREAM
Fresh n' Tasty!
We've been in the ice cream business for over 50 years and one thing we have learned is to never skimp on the product. We use a 14% butterfat recipe made in small batches with quality ingredients. We believe in slabs of dark chocolate and real fruit puree. And while our frozen yogurt is 98% fat free you would never know it with all of the chunks of crushed oreos and candy morsels rolled in.
9" round and 3" deep. Solid ice cream with a crushed oreo crust and enough to feed 15. All cakes come with a fudge drizzle and anything you would like written on it.Additional toppings are available
Here at Uhlman's we have been part of the Westborough community for over 50 years. We take pride in our community and look to participate and give back in any way possible. And let's be honest, it makes us feel great too!
